We are dedicated to providing long-term and steady income to participating artisans. This means we pay all our artisans up front for their work, and then we work to sell their goods. We focus on wholesale to create a sustainable market connection for the collectives, but we also participate in festivals and markets which have high booth costs and associated costs. Though our operating expenses in Guatemala are relatively low, we also like to have money to provide interest-free loans for artisans as well as grants for educational and medical needs.
